2026 SUMMER EXPLORATION SERIES
FOR RISING 10th - 12th GRADERS FROM BERGEN COUNTY
Give your teen a head start this summer with our Teen LEADS program.
This week-long program, which is presented in partnership with The Heller Family Foundation, travels across Bergen County, offering immersive experiences in leadership and career exploration.
Teens will engage in activities that ignite creativity and teamwork, participate in workshops designed to enhance leadership and communication skills, and learn from business leaders about various business sectors—from healthcare to the environment—while discovering how to make a difference through community involvement and volunteering.

What to Expect from the Teen LEADS Experience:

Discussions with local business leaders and elected officials.

In-depth tours of area businesses in diverse fields.

Public speaking and communication skills workshops.

Leadership development coaching.

Career and internship exploration.

3 to 5 community service hours.

Each day takes place at a different site in Bergen County.

Parents are responsible for 9:00 AM drop-off and 2:00 PM pick-up.

Bergen Volunteers does not provide transportation.

Lunch is provided daily.*

Cost: $350 per teen, per session
