2026 SUMMER EXPLORATION SERIES
FOR RISING 10th - 12th GRADERS FROM BERGEN COUNTY
Give your teen a week of inspiration, discovery, and leadership growth this summer.
Teen LEADS is a week-long program that offers rising 10th–12th graders the opportunity to explore future careers, build confidence, and make a real impact in their community.
Teen LEADS provides hands-on leadership and communication workshops, tours of local businesses, networking with professionals from a variety of fields, and meaningful community service projects across Bergen County.
Choose the week that works best for your family’s schedule: August 3–7 or August 10–14. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early to secure your teen’s place in this exciting summer experience!

What to Expect from the Teen LEADS Experience:

Discussions with local business leaders and elected officials.

In-depth tours of area businesses in diverse fields.

Public speaking and communication skills workshops.

Leadership development coaching.

Career and internship exploration.

3 to 5 community service hours.

Each day takes place at a different host site in Bergen County.

A parent/caregiver is responsible for 9:00 AM drop-off and 2:00 PM pick-up at host sites.

Bergen Volunteers does not provide transportation.

Lunch is provided daily.*

Cost: $350 per teen, per session
