Bergen Volunteers is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

Bergen Volunteers will celebrate our programs that improve lives and strengthen the community at our Hearts of Gold Dinner and Auction. The event will honor exemplary individuals, companies and organizations that support our mission to turn caring into meaningful action. The evening will provide great networking, a fabulous cocktail hour, and an amazing Silent Auction. Join us to share inspiring stories, honor outstanding volunteers, and celebrate our incredible accomplishments.

Proceeds generated from the Hearts of Gold Dinner and Auction support our direct-service programs that benefit low-income youth, mothers, families, elderly and the disabled in Bergen County. Your contribution ensures we can continue to provide these life-changing programs.

Meet our Honorees:

Cole Schotz PC is committed to the professional development of its employees and encourages them to support the local community. Employees have a long history donating to All Wrapped Up, a holiday giving program of Bergen Volunteers. Cole Schotz supports our Successful Families programs as well as our civic engagement program, Bergen LEADS. We honor Cole Schotz for investing and supporting the community.

Greater Bergen REALTORS and its members are dedicated to helping our neighbors in Bergen County. Through its REALTORS Care Foundation and the Greater Bergen REALTORS Community Service Committee, members have long supported Bergen Volunteer programs--including CHORE, Making-It-Home, Mentoring Moms, and All Wrapped Up--through financial grants, volunteering, and its annual Clean Homes Clean Families campaign drive that collects cleaning supplies for families in our Mentoring programs. Their ongoing investment in Bergen Volunteers has made a lasting impact on improving lives and strengthening the Bergen County community.

Louisa Hellegers is the founding director of the Bergen Volunteers' Redefining Retirement program. She developed and managed this valuable volunteer program that matches those exiting the workforce with meaningful volunteer work. Louisa's dedication to the program has helped more than 100 retirees find opportunities in the nonprofit community. We honor her for sharing a lifetime of knowledge and skills to create and manage one of the Bergen Volunteers' premiere programs.

Thank you to our sponsors!
