Bergen County VOAD
The Volunteer
Center of Bergen County coordinates the Bergen County VOAD (Voluntary
Organizations Active in Disaster), an alliance of nonprofit, civic and religious
organizations that coordinate efforts locally related to disasters. The
VOAD is helping victims of Hurricane Sandy for the long term. After
victims have received settlement funds from FEMA, insurance or other sources,
they will still have needs. Contributions to this fund will be used for
direct assistance to victims whose requests have been thoroughly reviewed and
verified. Click here to contribute.
