  • The first names and ages of the family members (or individuals).

  • A brief description of the circumstances.
    		•
     
  • A wish list or gift ideas.
    •  
  • The name, address, phone number and contact name at the referring agency.
    •  Up on Receipt of the information, you should:
     

  • Call the contact person/case worker at the referring agency IMMEDIATELY to discuss any questions you have about gift requests and to arrange the delivery of the gifts to the agency. They will provide driving directions and hours for delivery of the gifts. Please allow up to 48 hours for your caseworker to call you back. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
  • Do not drop off your gifts unless you have an appointment or you have spoken to your caseworker.

  • Provide only new gifts. Gently -used items are generally welcome at other times, but holiday gifts MUST be new.
    •  
  • Deliver the gifts to the agency - not to the Volunteer Center of Bergen County.
