Get your Derby on! Please join us for the Volunteer Center's fantastic, fun and fabulous 16th annual Derby Day party on Saturday, May 3rd at a private garden in Alpine, New Jersey.

Guests will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of great music, dancing, wine tasting, games - and the live viewing of the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby! Fabulous Foods Boutique Caterers will prepare delicious southern fare featuring Derby favorites such as sliders with Henry Bain sauce, Kentucky hot browns, pecan tassies - and of course, the perfect Mint Julep.

A highlight of the event will be the Blue Ribbon Boutique – a live and silent auction comprised of select items, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, travel opportunities, and more. We are pleased to announce that Record columnist Bill Ervolino will be the auctioneer for the exciting live auction.

Don’t forget to wear a festive hat or tie in the spirit of the Kentucky Derby! Prizes will be awarded for the Most Elegant Hat for the ladies and the Most Outrageous Tie for the gentlemen. Dress is casually elegant.

Tickets are $100 per person and sponsorship opportunities are available. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Volunteer Center of Bergen County.
