Bergen LEADS Public Forum
Tuesday, June 12
Click here to reserve a seat.

Visitors and tourists "love New York."  They're also now being encouraged to "do Atlantic City."

But what about us?  What about Bergen County?  After all, we're home to rich cultural activities, world-renowned dining, historical and natural wonders, and   - oh yeah - the Super Bowl champions (and the 2014 Super Bowl itself!)

So, what gives?  Why doesn't this great place we call home have a unifying message that promotes tourism, visitation - and in a much larger sense - economic development?  It's because no one has ever done it before. The Bergen LEADS Class of 2012 will change all that.

Join us on Tuesday, June 12 at 3 pm at Bergen Community College for the annual Public Forum and find out how Bergen LEADS is set to brand Bergen County (we promise, no irons will be used!)

The Volunteer Center of Bergen County coordinates the Bergen County VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) which is actively involved in long-term recovery efforts following Hurricane Irene.  Volunteer groups are still needed to help with cleanup. Contact World Cares Center at 917-566-3908 or lorloff@worldcares.org.  If you want to be involved in recovery efforts, contact jsharma@bergenvolunteers.org.
