Congratulations to everyone who
participated this year!
Volunteers throughout Bergen County were honored
recently at "Celebrate Volunteers", a unique event hosted by the Volunteer
Center of Bergen County in conjunction with National Volunteer Week in
April.
Nonprofit organizations of all kinds were invited
to select up to 7 people to attend. No judging was involved; there were no
"winners or losers". It was a true community wide celebration of service to
others.
Liz Tortorella, Volunteer Center Board member and
Director of Volunteer Services at The Valley Hospital, chaired this event. We'd

the volunteers that they honored.
