General Information:
Business headlines often trumpet the bad news
and bury the good. The Good Business Awards were created to
showcase the companies in New Jersey that are doing business
and doing good. The awards, sponsored by the
Northern New Jersey Business Volunteer Council (BVC), are
given in four categories:
Good Business Partnership,
Outstanding Volunteer Project,
Outstanding Employee Volunteer Corps
and
Pinnacle Award.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The following criteria must be met in order
to be eligible to submit an award entry:

The employee volunteer activity must have
been planned and implemented between January 1, 2005 and
December 31, 2005.

Entries must be submitted by a business
conducted for profit, with offices, operations or employees
in northern New Jersey.
Submitting an entry is easy!

Download the entry form for the applicable
award category(s) and a cover sheet for each entry.

Please answer all questions as completely as
possible and attach supporting documents or materials when
appropriate. Be sure to tell us what makes your entry
unique or innovative.

Complete a separate cover sheet for each
award entry and include the appropriate entry fee.

Send cover sheet, entry form, fee and
supporting materials to:

Entries become the property of the Northern
New Jersey Business Volunteer Council and cannot be
returned.
All entries must be postmarked by Friday,
May 12, 2006.
JUDGING
Good Business Award entries will be judged by
an independent panel of judges made up of business and
non-profit leaders and community volunteers. Good Business
Award nominees, sponsors and BVC member companies are
ineligible to serve on the judging panel.
Winners and nominees will be recognized at a
reception on Wednesday, June 7 at Fairleigh Dickinson
University, immediately following the
BVC Community Involvement
Conference.
